The grant program offered by the 1772 Foundation focuses on providing 1:1 matching grants up to $10,000 to support historic preservation projects. These projects include a range of activities aimed at preserving the exterior and structural integrity of historical sites, such as exterior painting, finishes and surface restoration, upgrades or installation of essential safety systems like fire detection and lightning protection, and structural repairs including those to roofs, porches, windows, foundations, and masonry.
