The Rosalie and Cecil Smith Fund aims to address and mitigate the issue of feral cat overpopulation in Summit County, as well as provide spay and neuter services to cats and dogs of low-income households, honoring the memory and wishes of Rosalie Smith.
The Vernon L. Odom Fund aims to support nonprofit organizations serving Summit County's minority population by promoting diversity and enriching the quality of life within minority communities. The fund awards grants to programs that empower groups, including Bhutanese refugees to African American youth, addressing needs stemming from poverty and lack of educational resources. Since its founding in 1993, nearly $200,000 in grants have been awarded to support these objectives.
