    The Council's grant program, as outlined in A State Blueprint for Supporting the Arts, prioritizes proposals that support excellence and professionalism in the arts, provide high-quality arts education, ensure arts accessibility for all Alabamians, preserve and present folk art traditions, promote diverse cultural expressions, recognize the arts as an economic driver, and increase public recognition for the arts and artists. Project Grants, the most common grant type, support a wide range of activities including festivals, performances, exhibitions, and educational activities, all aiming to provide positive arts experiences for the public.
