The Alzheimer’s Association aims to lead the fight against Alzheimer's and all other dementia by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
The Advancing Research on Care and Outcome Measurement 3.0 (ARCOM), supported by the Alzheimer’s Association International Research Grant Program in collaboration with LINC-AD, focuses on filling significant gaps in care and outcome measurement for individuals with Alzheimer’s or other dementias. Its goal is to develop, validate, and evaluate the use of measures to guide evidence-based care provisions and assess outcomes effectively, with an emphasis on person-centeredness. The program supports quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method research that can inform practices across diverse populations and dementia stages. ARCOM encourages funded investigators to engage with LINC-AD, contributing to a broader understanding of effective dementia care. Up to 8 projects may receive funding, each with a maximum of USD $250,000 over two years.
