The Alzheimer’s Association aims to lead the fight against Alzheimer's and all other dementia by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
The joint grant program by The Alzheimer’s Association and The Foundation of the American Society of Neuroradiology focuses on advancing the field of imaging in Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative diseases. It supports early-stage pilot projects to develop new imaging tools, advance imaging-based research, and fund innovative imaging data analysis. Targeting the improvement of diagnostic and prognostic techniques, the program encourages the inclusion of diverse populations and looks at environmental, genetic, and other factors affecting disease progression. Funding aims to translate research into better understanding and treatments, advancing knowledge on risk reduction and disease prevention. Three awards of up to $200,000 each for one year are available under this initiative, covering both direct and indirect costs.
