To educate and empower professionals to advance the science and practice of health and human performance.
The Travel and Research Awards focus on supporting members of the ACSM community by investing in the future of sports medicine and exercise science. This program is designed for students and professionals who meet specified eligibility criteria, allowing them to apply for prestigious research and travel awards. Specifically, the Joseph Hamill Access to Science Award, sponsored by the De Luca Foundation, supports students and post-doctoral fellows with travel expenses for presenting their research on biomechanics and neural control of movement at the ACSM Annual Meeting.
