The Honda USA Foundation is committed to supporting society in the key areas of Education, Environment, Mobility, and Traffic Safety. It aims to drive sustainable change in marginalized communities across the nation, particularly in locations where Honda operates, by partnering strategically with organizations that share similar goals.
The Honda USA Foundation offers grants through three main pillar awards, each designed to address critical societal issues within its operation areas.
Environment Pillar Award: Targets educational and conservation efforts to foster a sustainable future, focusing on water, air, and land conservation. Recipients may be involved in projects like marine ecosystem restoration, air pollution reduction, or land conservation.
Mobility Pillar Award: Aims to enhance mobility for youth with disabilities or critical illnesses through therapeutic/recreational camps, comprehensive care, or mobility enhancements, ensuring they experience the joy of movement.
Traffic Safety Pillar Award: Focuses on keeping youth safe on and off the road by supporting traffic safety awareness. This may include providing safety equipment like bike helmets, advocating for motorsports safety, and promoting pedestrian safety education.
Each award category aligns with the foundation’s commitment to creating sustainable, positive impacts in education, environmental conservation, mobility access, and traffic safety.
