To encourage and foster the exchange of information and ideas among biomechanists working in different disciplines and fields of application, such as biological sciences, exercise and sports science, health sciences, ergonomics and human factors, and engineering and applied science. It aims to facilitate the development of biomechanics as a basic and applied science.
The Research Travel Grant is designed to foster collaborative research and interaction among scientists by helping to offset the costs of travel to a host institution. This includes covering travel and lodging expenses, with budget requests allowed up to $1000.
