The American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation (ASHFoundation) supports innovators and encourages research that makes a difference in people's lives through speech, language, and hearing science. Inspired by pioneers like Dennis Klatt, the ASHFoundation aims to fuel advances in the field by backing new and ambitious projects that hold potential for significant impact.
The Graduate Student Scholarship program supports Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) graduate students who demonstrate academic achievement and promise in their field. The program offers various scholarship categories under the Graduate Student Scholarship umbrella, including International Student Scholarship, Minority Student Scholarship, NSSLHA Scholarship, and Student With a Disability Scholarship. Each scholarship targets students with specific backgrounds or affiliations, promoting diversity and inclusion within the CSD graduate studies community. Furthermore, the NSSLHA Scholarship, specifically underwritten by the NSSLHA Scholarship Fund, is designed for undergraduate senior students with active National NSSLHA memberships who are transitioning to graduate studies. The program provides various scholarships, including up to nine endowed scholarships for special purposes, promoting a broad spectrum of academic pursuits within communication sciences and disorders at both master's and doctoral levels.
