    The mission of The Amphion Foundation is to encourage the performance of contemporary concert music, especially by American composers, by providing support to non-profit performing and presenting organizations demonstrating sustained artistic excellence, as well as music service organizations and other entities supporting contemporary music.

    The goal of the Amphion Foundation's grant program is to support non-profit organizations involved in the presentation, performance, and promotion of contemporary concert music. Specifically, the program backs:

    1. Music service organizations that offer grants, residencies, training programs, or activities that support composers and performers, or help in the preservation and dissemination of contemporary concert music.
    2. Presenters, which are music venues or organizations dedicated to live musical performances by various performing groups throughout the year.
    3. Festivals, or organizations focused on presenting live musical events by a range of performing groups during a specific period.
