The Center for Arab American Philanthropy (CAAP) aims to unite and empower the Arab American community by showcasing the impact of collective philanthropy. As an institution of ACCESS, its mission focuses on strengthening individual and communal philanthropy within the Arab American community across the United States, reinforcing the importance of strong community organizations for development and empowerment.
CAAP, in collaboration with the National Network for Arab American Communities (NNAAC), offers grants up to $10,000 for Arab American organizations that support arts, culture and media, human services, education, and advocacy. This initiative not only aims to bolster philanthropy within the Arab American community but also to strengthen the operational capabilities of Arab American organizations nationwide, acknowledging that robust organizations are vital for community development. This year, CAAP and NNAAC have streamlined their process to offer general operating support grants to alleviate the application burden on organizations.
