The Artificial Intelligence Journal (AIJ) aims to support the promotion and dissemination of AI research. This includes promoting and raising awareness of AI research and practice, encouraging the timely and widespread dissemination of AI research results, techniques, and tools, promoting interaction and exchange among AI researchers, practitioners, and students, and promoting the exploitation of AI research results, techniques, and tools.
The AIJ provides substantial funding, roughly 240,000 Euros annually, through competitive open calls to support the promotion and dissemination of AI research. The grants aim to promote and raise awareness of AI research and practice, ensure the timely and widespread dissemination of AI results, techniques, and tools, encourage interaction among AI community members, and support the exploitation of AI research. A notable focus is on funding activities that are fundamentally new and likely to establish new directions for AI research, with up to 20% of the budget reserved for these innovative activities.
