The Arts & Humanities Council of Montgomery County (AHCMC) partners with the community to cultivate and support excellence in the arts and humanities, expand access to cultural expression, and contribute to economic vitality in the region.
General Operating Support I Grants aim to support non-profit arts and humanities organizations by offering financial assistance ranging from $10,000 to $50,000. These grants are designed for organizations with a substantial operational budget, indicated by at least $50,000 in allowable cash operating revenue and expenses for the latest fiscal year. The grants seek to promote organizational stability, encourage diversity, equity, access, and inclusion in community activities, ensure diverse arts and humanities experiences for Montgomery County constituents, stimulate local support for the arts and humanities, enhance scholarly and artistic capabilities, and improve management infrastructure and effectiveness within the arts and humanities organizations.
