ArtsFund supports the arts through leadership, advocacy, and grantmaking to build a healthy, equitable, and creative Washington. They believe in arts as a tool for social change, an economic driver, and a way to promote equity by centering those most impacted by systemic oppression. They emphasize the importance of engaging youth and families in the arts, the power of data for advocacy, and the arts as a means to bring communities together.
The Community Accelerator Grant, funded by the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation, aims to provide unrestricted grants to cultural nonprofit organizations across Washington state. It focuses on organizations whose primary mission is to produce or support arts and cultural activities, including fiscally sponsored and tribal organizations. The goal is to offer essential capital that enables organizations to prioritize and determine how to best utilize the funding for maximum impact, thereby fostering a stronger, more inclusive, and thriving arts and cultural sector in Washington State.
