Baker Boyer is dedicated to serving their communities with a dual approach: professionally, by crafting unique solutions for their clients; and personally, through volunteering, sharing expertise, and donating to organizations, programs, and events that strengthen and enhance community vitality.
Baker Boyer offers support primarily within Walla Walla, Milton-Freewater, Tri-Cities, and Yakima, focusing on organizations and programs aimed at community strengthening. The grant program provides three types of support: Charitable Gifts, for 501(c)(3) organizations seeking general or specific program funding; Sponsorships, with a decreasing emphasis, favoring direct contributions over benefits like event tickets; and Gift Baskets, for auctions or incentives aimed at supporting local nonprofits financially. Focus areas include community development, youth programs, senior programs, arts and culture, education, diversity, recreation and environment, health and safety, and support for low/moderate income segments.
