The Biochemical Society aims to advance the molecular and cellular biosciences, facilitating the sharing of expertise, supporting the advancement of biochemistry and molecular biology, and promoting their importance in the wider biological context.
The Biochemical Society offers a variety of Grants and Awards to support the molecular biosciences community. These include funding for events, PhDs, projects, and career development. Their Diversity in Science Grants specifically offer between £500-£1,000 to support projects addressing inclusion and diversity in science. These grants are open to a broad audience, including individuals, groups, charities, and not-for-profit organizations globally, without the requirement of being a Society member or UK residency. The scheme welcomes applications from those who have previously received any of their grants.
