Type of Support

Overview

These grants aim to enhance research capacity in low-income economies across Eastern Europe, Africa, and the Middle East by fostering international skills and knowledge exchange. The program supports two main activities: enabling a researcher from a lower-income economy to visit a host laboratory in a higher-income economy to learn new methods, and facilitating a researcher from a higher-income economy to visit a lower-income economy to help establish research setups. The grants offer up to £2,000 to cover travel, accommodation, and subsistence for visits lasting between two and four weeks.
