The Basic Needs Giving Partnership is dedicated to advancing equity and economic well-being for everyone in Northeast Wisconsin. This is achieved through centralizing and coordinating efforts under a single regional organization to address community needs while disrupting the systems that perpetuate poverty. Shared values of trust, collaboration, curiosity, learning, and an equity-oriented, systems-based approach guide their vision towards thriving, equitable communities.
This grant program is committed to providing multi-year flexible funding for current and emerging collaborative systems change initiatives or projects focused on addressing the root causes of complex societal issues. It aims to support efforts aligning with its key grant priorities, specifically targeting areas such as Early Care and Education for children from birth to age 5, Housing Access, Mental Health, and Substance Use.
