The Nola and George Cummings Family Foundation Fund, operated by the Branch County Community Foundation, offers grants ranging from $200-$5,000. These grants are available to Colon Community School administrators, coaches, and teachers aiming to provide additional academic enrichment or enhancement programs. There is a special emphasis on projects related to the arts, drama, and special education. Funding can be used for a wide array of needs including classroom supplies, innovative lessons, activities, projects, resources, presentations, school fairs, and other endeavors typically not covered by school district budgets.
