    The mission of Breast Cancer Alliance is to improve survival rates and quality of life for those impacted by breast cancer through better prevention, early detection, treatment, and cure. The Alliance invests in innovative research, breast surgery fellowships, education, dignified regional support, and screening for the underserved.

    Type of Support

    Overview

    Breast Cancer Alliance funds four types of annual grants aimed at combating breast cancer from multiple angles. These include:

    1. Exceptional Project Research Grants for pioneering breast cancer research projects.
    2. Young Investigator Research Grants designed to support promising researchers early in their careers.
    3. Breast Surgery Fellowships to enhance surgical expertise in treating breast cancer.
    4. Education and Outreach Grants, including Screening and Support Service Grants, which aim to educate and provide critical services for breast cancer detection and support for patients.
