The British Sedimentological Research Group aims to serve as a central point for sedimentological research globally, focus on supporting young researchers in sedimentology, organize and back high-quality research meetings, and provide a comprehensive resource base for sedimentologists worldwide.
The grant program supports the broad goal of advancing sedimentological research. It is specifically designed to support young research workers, including PhDs and post-docs, in sedimentology. The grant also aims to facilitate the organization and support of high-quality research meetings, including an annual AGM, to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange within the sedimentology community.
