    Overview

The Equity and Access (E&A) Grant Program, launched following a 2022 California Legislature appropriation, is designed to facilitate the participation of Tribes and community-based organizations (CBOs) in CPUC's decision-making processes. With a funding pool of $30,000,000, this program focuses on building the capacity of these groups to engage with CPUC effectively. The program awards grants up to $200,000 through the Equity, Engagement, and Education (EEE) Grant Account, aiming to elevate the influence of CBOs and Tribes within CPUC's decision-making and to increase accessibility to the Intervenor Compensation program and clean energy programs for the communities these organizations serve.
