The Capital City Bank Group Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the communities where it operates. Its mission is to invest in initiatives that contribute to building strong communities.
The Tipping Point Grants are one-time gifts aimed at either helping an organization start up or allowing an existing organization to achieve a goal that seemed out of reach. The Foundation may award a single gift of $50,000 or two gifts of $25,000 each to different organizations. These grants are intended to provide significant financial support to projects or organizations that have a clear impact on community improvement. Finalists are chosen by the Tipping Points Committee, and may be asked to present their projects for final consideration. The grants are awarded based on recommendations from the Committee and approval from the Foundation's Board.
