Catholic Extension is a national fundraising organization dedicated to aiding and fortifying impoverished mission dioceses across the United States. Since its inception in 1905, it has contributed over $500 million to American communities, motivated by a need, passion, and commitment to enhance the growth of the Catholic faith.
The Catholic School Sustainability Initiative Grant Program is designed to assist Catholic schools within dioceses facing economic challenges to become more sustainable and effectively managed. By partnering with Catholic School Management, Inc., this initiative offers a comprehensive Strategic Management and Development Program covering essential areas such as school board effectiveness, communications enhancement, fundraising, enrollment management, and marketing. The program aims for long-term viability and vitality of the schools, ensuring they can promote their Catholic identity, academic excellence, and become sustainable institutions. The program is a four-year commitment and provides significant financial support, covering 70% of the total initiative cost for six schools per diocese, amounting to a $204,000 value per group of six schools.
