Overview

The grant is aimed at supporting the enhancement of the National HIV Surveillance System through the development and provision of a privacy data-sharing tool. This tool is designed to facilitate the de-duplication of cases reported across 59 jurisdictions by identifying potential duplicates, allowing for secure and encrypted data submission and matching, ensuring data security, confidentiality, and privacy according to CDC standards. Additionally, the grant includes efforts to recruit and negotiate with the 59 jurisdictions for their participation and to provide reports on matching levels.
