The Southeast Alabama Community Foundation (SACF) aims to connect charitable resources with community needs and opportunities in the Wiregrass region, encompassing Coffee, Dale, Geneva, Henry, or Houston counties. As an affiliate of the Central Alabama Community Foundation, SACF focuses on building long-term support for the community, allowing individuals to establish new funds for specific purposes or contribute to existing ones, since its establishment in 1995.
The Cultural & Community Enhancement Grant Programs aim to meet community needs in Lowndes, Macon, and Montgomery counties through support for nonprofit organizations. These grants focus on improving the quality of life across various sectors including Social Services, Shelter, Community Building, and the Arts. Additionally, Technical Assistance Grants are available to enhance nonprofit internal operations and effectiveness, covering areas such as Strategic Planning, Organizational/Board Infrastructure, Fund Development, and Marketing/Public Relations.
