Investing in the Arts throughout Benton, Sherburne, Stearns, and Wright counties, the CMAB aims to foster a thriving, collaborative, and innovative arts community. This includes striving for excellence in leadership, increasing quality of life through arts engagement, nurturing artists' professional needs, and ensuring responsible arts funding distribution. The mission encompasses supporting creativity, diversity, civic engagement, lifelong learning through the arts, and accountability in the funding process.
The CMAB Community Arts Support Grant Program offers biennial grants aimed at supporting administration, operations, equipment purchases, and enhancing access and outreach to underserved groups. Nonprofit arts organizations demonstrating efficient management and high-quality artistic programming can receive funds ranging from a minimum of $3,000 to a maximum of $10,000, based on 20% of a completed fiscal year’s eligible operating expenses. These grants are distributed annually for two years to support eligible arts organizations.
