Chamber Music America aims to support professional U.S.-based presenters and ensembles that focus on Western European and/or non-Western classical and contemporary music. Through funding and resources, it aims to foster the commissioning and performance of new works by American composers, highlighting the diversity and innovation within the contemporary classical music scene.
The 2024 Presenter Consortium for Jazz program supports consortiums of three U.S. presenters working together to engage up to three professional U.S. jazz ensembles for either in-person concerts or streamed performances. The program encourages diversity and representation in jazz and offers incentive funding for projects that include performances of complete CMA-commissioned works by New Jazz Works grantees. Eligible expenses for funding include ensemble fees, production costs for concerts or streaming, marketing, and logistical expenses such as travel and accommodations.
