The Charlotte Community Foundation is committed to connecting people who care with causes that matter, by facilitating grant-making to serve the needs of communities in and around Charlotte County, Florida.
The grant program aims to give back to the community by supporting organizations or collaborations that enhance the quality of life for children from low-income families. This is achieved by providing adequate food, educational opportunities, and after-school enrichment programs that the children's families may not be able to afford otherwise. Supported initiatives include, but are not limited to, After school Programs, Career Development, Feeding Programs, Fitness Programs, Health and Wellness, Reading Programs, and Summer Programs.
