The Child Neurology Foundation aims to support child neurology through partnerships and funding initiatives that enhance clinical decision support systems and improve patient care in neurology departments.
The CNF Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (NDD) Summer Research Scholarship is designed for first, second, or third-year medical students in the US or Canada with an interest in neurodevelopmental disabilities or child neurology. The grant aims to support clinical research in the field of neurodevelopmental disabilities in children or young adults, conducted under the guidance of a child neurology/NDD subspecialist. The program awards a single recipient with a $3,500 scholarship to facilitate their research project. Applications for this scholarship are evaluated based on the importance to neurodevelopmental disabilities, originality of hypotheses, merit of proposed approach, and how the project supports the medical student's development.
