    Overview

The STEM Innovation Grant aims to inspire and encourage K-12 students to explore their interests and curiosity in STEM fields. Eligible programs for funding are those that provide an innovative approach to STEM learning, offer developmentally appropriate curriculum and resources, and include activities that apply STEM knowledge in real-life scenarios. The grant supports both new innovative pilot programs and established STEM programs across the U.S. For the 2022 Grant Cycle, the funding approach includes awarding 5 grants chosen and distributed by Colocation America Staff Members, each with $1,500 to award, and additional 4-10 grants awarded by the STEM Grant Committee Member with amounts ranging from $2,000 to $7,500 per project. The grant funds can be utilized for tools and equipment, staff stipends, field trips, travel expenses, curriculum development or purchase, and professional development.
