    Overview

The Community Resilience Initiatives by The Colorado Trust are three-year investments aimed at harnessing the strengths, abilities, and resilience of Colorado communities. These initiatives focus on the strategic areas of food, housing, and mental and behavioral health, identified as top priorities during the planning process. The goal is to support entities in effectively responding to community disruptions caused by factors like economic downturns, social turbulence, public health crises, or ineffective public policy. The initiatives encompass seven competitive grants targeting:

    • Sustaining Housing Solutions
    • Diverse Approaches to Behavioral Health
    • Expanding Access to Behavioral Health
    • Accessing Healthy Foods
    • Building Food Systems
    • Capacity Building Assistance
    • Policy and Advocacy

Specifically, the Sustaining Housing Solutions initiative seeks to increase housing affordability and stability for those facing barriers to a healthy life, aiming for outcomes such as increased housing services for the unhoused, improved stability for those at risk of losing housing, and reduced stigma towards people experiencing homelessness.
