The grant program delivered by the Kootenay Livestock Association focuses on the conservation and optimization of grassland resources. Its key objectives include promoting stewardship of these resources, maintaining and enhancing biodiversity along with long-term fish and wildlife productivity in public grassland ecosystems, and fostering compatibility between livestock management and recreational use.
