Emerging Philanthropists Fund Grant

The grant programs supported by the Community Foundation of Central Illinois, including the Emerging Philanthropists Fund, are designed to serve the community within a 50-mile radius of Peoria, IL (excluding Knox and McLean County). The grants focus on projects that are:

• Aligned with the foundation and donor-designated priorities.
• Strategic in their approach, with well-defined objectives and measurable outcomes that enhance the quality or scope of charitable work in the community.
• Collaborative, leveraging resources and fostering partnerships to amplify impact. The Emerging Philanthropists Fund specifically supports evidence-based programs that address significant community needs, are innovative, identify unmet community needs, and are collaborative. It is fueled by membership donations and awards grants up to $5,000. This initiative aims to foster emerging community leaders in central Illinois and engage them in philanthropy to improve the quality of life in the community.
