CFSNY: Arts and Culture Fund

The Arts and Culture Fund aims to support a range of activities within arts organizations. Broad goals include enhancing community access to the arts, addressing specific community needs, and supporting diverse, equitable, and inclusive participation in the arts. Specific areas of support include:

• Program support for initiatives addressing clear community needs or interests.
• Capital support for property purchases, equipment purchases, facilities improvements, and capital campaigns, with a requirement for at least 2 estimates.
• Season or Performance Support for underwriting seasons or specific performances, with a keen interest in seasons that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Operating Support for short-term assistance aimed at improving long-term sustainability.
• Capacity Building that focuses on strengthening organizational capabilities in diversity, equity, and inclusion in both operations and programming.
