The Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin aims to enhance the betterment of communities in its nine-county service area through the support and management of community funds. Each fund, guided by a local volunteer advisory board, focuses on responding to the evolving needs of the community by distributing grants to various projects and programs.
The fund’s broad goals are to support the charitable, educational, historical, and cultural needs of the Darlington area. It accomplishes this by annually distributing a portion of its earnings back into the community in the form of grants. These grants are guided by the principle of enriching the community and are distributed through a process led by volunteer advisory board members who also initiate fundraising activities.
