The Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin aims to enhance the betterment of communities in its nine-county service area through the support and management of community funds. Each fund, guided by a local volunteer advisory board, focuses on responding to the evolving needs of the community by distributing grants to various projects and programs.
The grant program focuses on distributing a portion of the Fund's earnings back to the community annually. It supports a broad spectrum of community needs, guided by the principle of matching philanthropic efforts with local requirements. The program is overseen by volunteer board members responsible for fundraising and the allocation of grants.
