Year-Round Small Grants

The Year-Round Small Grants program offers financial support of up to $15,000 to small nonprofit organizations operating in Greater New Haven. The program reviews applications on a first-come, first-served basis until the allocated funding is exhausted. The grants aim to support a variety of needs within nonprofit organizations, including:

• Project Support: Funding for new or existing specific projects.
• Capacity Building Support: Financial assistance aimed at strengthening the infrastructure of organizations to ensure long-term success. This can cover aspects such as board development, strategic planning, evaluation, and capital expenditures (like equipment purchase, building renovations, or relocation).
• General Operating Support (GOS): Grants to support the overall mission and ongoing work of an organization, providing the flexibility to allocate funds where most needed to maximize impact.
