The Iseminger Endowment for the Arts, established by Gordon and Trudy Iseminger in 2017, aims to support the arts across the region. Its mission focuses on providing exposure and access to artistic and cultural experiences that encourage artistic growth and creativity for individuals of all ages.
The Community Opportunity grants aim to enhance the quality of life in specific regions by focusing on four main areas: Arts & Culture, Community & Human Services, Environmental Sustainability, and Human Rights. These grants are designed to fund projects that provide arts and cultural exposure, support community and human services initiatives, conserve natural resources, and promote human rights awareness and understanding. To qualify, projects must benefit the residents of Grand Forks, Walsh, or Polk County, start on or after October 1, 2024, and be completed by September 30, 2025.
