The Community Foundation for the CSRA aims to enhance the quality of life for residents of Augusta and its surrounding communities, including Richmond, Columbia, McDuffie, and Burke counties in Georgia, as well as Aiken and Edgefield counties in South Carolina. For over 25 years, they have connected the philanthropic spirit of community members with local nonprofits and community initiatives, grounded in a collective desire to promote regional well-being.
The JB White Fund, under the Community Foundation for the CSRA, offers small capacity-building grants to nonprofits within its six-county service area. These grants are designed to empower nonprofits by supporting their development and sustainability efforts. Eligible uses for the grant include advertising/marketing, organizational resiliency consulting, equipment purchases, staff development/training, and web or IT enhancements. The program aims to strengthen recipients' abilities to expand or enhance their mission impacts within the community.
