The Community Foundation of Teton Valley aims to elevate lives through the power of generosity. It seeks to fund the nonprofit community strategically and impactfully.
The Youth Philanthropy Program is designed to introduce Teton High School students to the fundamentals of philanthropic giving and community service. Students involved in the program have the opportunity to solicit and review grant proposals, engage with nonprofit organizations, and decide on grant awards to support a variety of local initiatives. This hands-on approach allows students to learn about philanthropy's impact and encourages a broad range of project proposals across multiple sectors including the arts, environment, social services, education, and more. The program notably offers funding between $500 to $1,000 for nonprofit projects that serve the Teton Valley community, thereby making a tangible impact on local development and engagement.
