The Community Health Fund focuses on supporting health and human services organizations that provide programs and services for vulnerable populations in Mendocino County. This includes adults over 65, low-income families and youth, low-access residents, individuals with conditions or disabilities, veterans, undocumented migrants, LGBTQIAA+, unhoused or housing insecure, Native Americans, Latinx, and other communities of color, and those historically lacking access to opportunities. Funding priorities are directed towards services assisting with basic needs, patient navigation or case management, filling gaps in short-term needs not covered by other programs, equipment and technology improvements for service delivery, and educational programming around substance abuse prevention and treatment.
