The Rosie Fund aims to provide financial aid to not-for-profit organizations helping to meet the unfunded needs of women in Kankakee County. This effort is facilitated by the Community Foundation of Kankakee River Valley, focusing on supporting services for women that lack traditional financial backing.
The Rosie Fund Grant Competition is designed to support local not-for-profits in Kankakee County that offer services to women. Funds to be used for client services such as Education, Health Care, Child care, and Basic Necessities (i.e. lodging, transportation, clothing, etc.)
