The program encourages applicants to submit projects that are creative, have a positive long-term impact, are innovative, prevent recurring needs, promote collaboration among local organizations, and are financially sustainable without ongoing funding from the grant. Priority is given to new projects. Grant amounts are limited, generally not exceeding $10,000.
