The Community Foundation's mission is to make the Richmond region a better place with bold solutions and inspired philanthropy.
The grant supports charitable organizations in metropolitan Richmond and Central Virginia aimed at enhancing the health and support services for the community, particularly for those facing physical or cognitive challenges or those at risk. The grant prioritizes improving access to health and related support services including but not limited to primary and specialty care, nutritional support, and increasing functional independence through home care, day care, transportation, and the use of assistance devices. Additionally, it focuses on disability prevention for at-risk populations and supports public health initiatives. Grant applications are initiated through an LOI and are by invitation only.
