The Ernest O. Reaugh Advised Fund for LGBTQIA+ Advocacy offers grants for projects and programs that advocate for the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community. This fund honors Ernest Otho “Ernie” Reaugh, who was actively engaged in the gay rights movement and the battle against AIDS. Ernie, a WW II bomber pilot and a prominent figure in politics and advocacy, utilized his position to fight for gay rights and AIDS awareness at different levels of government and community engagement. The grants support causes Ernie was passionate about, focusing on legal rights and advocacy for the LGBTQIA+ community.
