Stimulating Philanthropy To Build A Better Community
The Beaches Community Fund grant cycle is targeted at nonprofit organizations that operate within the Beaches communities, stretching from Mayport to Guana and located east of the Intracoastal Waterway. The grant prioritizes projects that aim to address a range of critical needs within these communities. These include ensuring residents have access to basic necessities such as food, emergency financial assistance, housing, shelter, transportation, healthcare, and behavioral health support. Additionally, the grant supports initiatives designed to aid K-12 students, focusing on school-based supports, afterschool and out-of-school programs, and enrichment opportunities for low-income students. It also emphasizes the importance of early learning opportunities for low-income students, aiming to improve access to high-quality early learning centers, enhance the quality and learning experiences within these centers, and support home- or community-based learning opportunities. Finally, it targets efforts to improve transportation options for low-income residents to better access essential goods and services.
