Impact 100 Perry County is an initiative aimed at bringing transformational grants to local organizations within Perry County through collective funding. The grant program, inspired by a model established by philanthropist Wendy Steele, operates on donations from a group of women, aiming to make substantial impacts by pooling resources. This year, it will award $15,000 to one non-profit organization, public school, or government entity within Perry County that can utilize the funds for a project benefitting the community. The program focuses on five areas: arts and culture, education, environment, family, and health and wellness, supporting initiatives that range from enhancing cultural and artistic climate, improving access to education, preserving the natural surroundings, enhancing family unity, to improving mental or physical well-being of Perry County residents.
