The grant program by the Black Mountain-Swannanoa Valley Endowment Fund is designed to support innovative projects and programs within the Swannanoa Valley. While the Fund considers requests for different amounts at its discretion, priority is generally lower for requests for continued support of previously funded projects or for general operating expenses. Applicants benefiting from the grant alongside another organization must include a letter of endorsement from that other entity. Projects should aim to be completed within a year of receiving the award.
