The Ramble Charitable Fund aims to improve the quality of life in designated Buncombe County communities through supporting education, economic development, health care, and other projects that promote community development.
The Yancey Fund provides grants ranging from $2,500-$10,000 for charitable initiatives, including those addressing programmatic and capital needs, as well as for acquiring equipment and technology. The YF Board is also open to considering requests for amounts outside this range at its discretion, prioritizing projects with the greatest potential for community benefit. Grant applications must include an endorsement from any third-party organization benefiting from the request, and projects should be aimed to be completed within a year of receiving the award.
